Puppy & New Dog Care
We can advise prior to getting a new puppy or rescue dog so that the transition goes as smoothly as possible. Once you have the dog, we can set up a care plan to suit their needs, in terms of visits and walks throughout the day. Our aim to help them successfully integrate into your home and family.
For puppies, during the initial visits we feed the puppy as they are usually on multiple feeds a day, assist with house training, encourage appropriate behaviour, play and cuddles, help get them used to the collar/harness and lead and, when they have had all vaccinations, take them for 5 minute walks and gradually increasing the duration.
We can also help create a training plan. With puppies we find two 30 minute visits a day work better than one long one, then as the puppy gets older transitioning them onto one visit and one 30 minute group walk. Going forward you choose what works best for you and your dog – be it one or two walks a day or perhaps one walk and one visit.

I can’t thank Sam and her team enough for the great care that they take of our dog. Sam is always at the end of the phone answering any questions we may have. The safe guarding around walking the dogs is second to none and I know that while she is out with them she will not only having fun but that she is on the safest of hands. I love the photos and videos we get sent of her which is such a lovely touch. We have never been let down by the team and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the local area.
